Todd Rich, MD

After serving for six years as a Staff Physician at St. John’s Hospital in Detroit,

Michigan, Todd Rich joined Genentech in 1992 as a Senior Manager, New

Product Planning and Health Economics. In 1997, Todd became the Director of

Product Experience, which included the Medical Information, Health Economics

and Postn Marketing Departments. Todd was named Senior Director, Product

Development in 2000, where he became the Global Project Team Leader for Rituxan.

In 2005, Todd was appointed VP, Clinical and Commercial Regulatory Affairs and

managed the regulatory strategy for both clinical development and promotional

advertising. Todd became the head of Development RISQ by adding Quality and

Compliance, Drug Safety and Medical Communications to his responsibilities in

006.

In 2009, Todd was promoted to Senior Vice President and had global responsibilities

for Global Clinical Operations, Quality, Roche’s Outsourcing Center in India, and the

Strategic Outsourcing Group. Todd was also the leader of the Product Development

Operational Excellence effort with a focus on innovation in the drug

development process for the Development organization.

Todd also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Cadence Pharmaceuticals

from 2007---2013.
